Genesis Skateboarding is a Christian based organization based in Kansas City, Missouri founded in 2005. Our original mission was to get out and support skateboarding in a positive manner while breaking free from the negative view that many people saw the sport in.    We originally worked with skaters in church groups and youth groups and progressed to public skateparks. Over time, many adult skaters started getting back into the sport and many of the skate shops didn't carry the types of products these skaters were looking for. We opened our online skateboard shop to fill the product void for these skaters looking for bowl and downhill gear. This opened the door for us to meet many more skaters in the USA and around the world who love to skate and feel as positive about the sport as we do.    Today, Genesis Skateboarding looks ahead to a bright future while reflecting on our previous five years of existence. Actually, our roots go back to skating in the 1970's so it's always great to share our history with skaters of all era's of skating. This sport is incredibly rich in history. We work with skaters as young as 3 and some that are in their 60's.
